Auditions for
LOVE LETTERS
We are pleased to announce that the first show of Sizzle & Steak Productions will be the A.R. Gurney Pulitzer Prize finalist, Love Letters.
Auditions will be held at the Rao Theatre, on the campus of Fulton-Montgomery Community College in Johnstown, NY, and will consist of cold readings from the script.

Wednesday, May 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm
Roles Available roles: (6 men/6 women, adults any age)
- Andrew Makepeace Ladd III – Intellectual, conformist, and polite. Rises to become a US Senator. He is more cautious, stable, and deeply loving, though often frustrated in his efforts to properly express his feelings for Melissa.
- Melissa Gardner – Impulsive, artistic, and sometimes unstable or naive. She comes from a wealthy but fragmented home life, often expressing her pain and vulnerability through her letters.
To cast as many actors as possible, we will pair six different men with six different women. Each selected pair we cast will therefore only have to perform one show during our six-show engagement. No line memorization required.
